Hello, I am Sherrie Chapman. I began sewing many years ago on my totally manual Montgomery Ward sewing machine. Things have changed a lot since then. I now use three computerized embroidery machines, and two computerized Gammill Statler Quilting Machines (pictures below). Mine are the same quality quilting machines used by large scale quilting companies. I enjoy doing embroidery projects but I really love quilting. Quilts are not easy to make and are typically a very personal item that people have put their hard work and love into. Finishing a quilt with quality quilting services adds that final touch that makes it so impressive. I chose to name my quilting service Heirloom Longarm Quilting because I see every quilt as a potential family heirloom. I myself have quilts that were made by my grandmother and I see them as a family heirloom.
I am a one person shop located in the Waco Texas area. Be assured that I am the one working on your project. Nobody but me will be working on your quilt. My business plan is very simple. I combine high quality workmanship with reasonable prices that reward return customers, and expeditious turn around. I also believe in good communication and will keep you informed of the receipt, progress, and expected delivery of your finished quilt.
On a personal note, I was born and raised in the Waco Texas area. I attended Baylor University where I obtained a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science. I have spent several years in the corporate IT world and am now concentrating on building my quilting and embroidery business. If you have a quilt that needs finishing I can certainly help. Feel free to send me a message using the Contact page or you can call me at 254-292-3379. If I cannot answer immediately please leave a message and I will return your call shortly. If I answered every robocall or telemarketer call I would never get anything done (if you know what I mean). So please leave a message.
I hope you will consider letting me help you create your "Heirloom" quilt.
