If your quilt has borders, I can add custom border patterns. Custom borders can add an interesting accent to your quilt that gives it a more artistic appearance. If you would like to add one or more custom border patterns to your quilt please let me know by writing "I Want A Custom Border" in the special instructions section of the order form. I will contact you to discuss the different border choices. You do not have to choose an edge-to-edge pattern for the interior part of your quilt on the order form as we will also discuss how each pattern will look together.
Custom borders are considered semi-custom work in the longarm quilting world. It takes extra time and planning to complete. My charge for adding a custom border is $30.00 per border (meaning all four sides of the quilt are done for $30.00 total). If I do not already have the border pattern you desire there may also be a small charge to acquire the digital pattern (typically $10.00).
